Finished Cultural Heritage restoration project

Finally the conservation-restoration of the stone slate roof of Drengestua – the “farm hand’s house” is finished and approved by the Norwegian Cultural Heritage Fund. In 2008 the roof on the beautiful little house had done it’s job. Now it is fully restored to it’s original state. Thank you to everyone who has helped out – volunteers, local craftsmen, and the State conservationists.

Tired roof and rain gutters, but a beautiful house Newly conserved, back to it's original state
